With the advancement of technology over the last few years books on audio are now within most peoples reach. Books on audio are now available in many different formats. You can go down the traditional route and buy a physical audio book from the store. This will normally be on a cd or cassette tape which you then play on your cd or tape player but becoming much more poplar now are audio books that you can download from the internet. The advantage of these audio books are that they are generally cheaper than the "hard copy" version you buy from the store, simply because you are not paying for any packaging or a physical cd. Also this type of downloadable audio book means you can own the audio book in a number of different formats. You can burn the book onto a cd and listen to it in the normal way but you can also transfer the audio book to an ipod mp3 or similar player.
